Mdou Moctar announce fall tour (NYC show on BV Presale now: password here)

Having released their acoustic rework of last year’s Funeral for Justice, Tears of Injustice, earlier this year, Mdou Moctar were in North America on tour in February, and they’ll return in September for a couple of festival dates. They’ve announced a new tour around those, including an NYC headlining show, happening at Ruins at Knockdown Center on September 12. Mdou Moctar are also playing Ohana Festival and Shaky Knees, and they teamed up with Mikey Coltun to contribute a rendition of Broken Social Scene’s “Pacific Theme” to the new You Forgot It In People tribute compilation, which is out on June 6. See all their upcoming dates below.
