Washington, 21 marzo 2025 - Donald Trump ha annunciato nello Studio Ovale con il segretario alla Difesa Pete Hegseth al suo fianco il lancio di un nuovo jet militare. "L'F-47 sarà il più potente della storia", ha detto il presidente.

Il presidente Usa ha annunciato che Boeing costruirà il caccia di nuova generazione, che verrà chiamato F-47, chiaramente un omaggio alla sua presidenza. Trump infatti in questo momento è il 47esimo presidente degli Stati Uniti.

Pete Hegseth, segretario della Difesa, ha parlato di "grande giorno per il nostro Paese e per il mondo", commentando l'accordo con Boeing per la costruzione del nuovo caccia F-47. "Sarà - ha aggiunto - il dominio dell'aria nella futura generazione e questo grazie alla leadership del presidente". Hegseth era nello Studio Ovale, in piedi, accanto al presidente quando ha dato l'annuncio dell'accordo con Boeing.
