Quavo Is Making His Cannes Film Festival Debut
On the heels of last week's news that Kid Cudi's Neverland short will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival, Quavo is the next rapper getting involved in the upcoming run of esteemed film festivals. Set to screen for the first time at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the rapper stars in the new Greg Jonkajtys-directed action thriller film, Takeover, alongside Billy Zane.Per an official press email, the film chronicles the life of parolee Guy Miller – played by Quavo – as he tries to get back on his feet."Takeover follows Guy Miller (Quavo), a parolee striving to rebuild his life just as he’s drawn back into Atlanta’s perilous street racing underworld.
