‘The Paper’ Is Open For Business in First Image From ‘The Office’ Spin-Off

NBCUniversal has just released something that might look a tad bit familiar. The company is inviting fans to step into a brand-new world that has some heavy nostalgic connections to a favorite of yesteryear with the debut look of its upcoming series, The Paper. For those not in the know, the title will follow in the footsteps of NBC’s hit comedy series, The Office, and will even include at least one familiar face in that of Oscar Nuñez’s Oscar Martinez. As for today’s image, The Office alum can be seen looking up at his new boss, played by Domhnall Gleeson, while the latter addresses his employees from atop a desk. Off to the side, we also catch our first glimpse of Sabrina Impacciatore’s character, who stands out in a red dress. Additionally, news of the show’s release window was also shared today, as we now know that the title will arrive on Peacock just in time for the fall, with a start date sometime in September.
