But I think he’s kind of had to really because of everything that’s been thrown at him. “He’ll have a couple of [Strongbow] Dark Fruits. He’s a bit of a lightweight, but he’s only 18. He’ll have like four pints and that’s him done.” However, Littler had an explanation for only having four drinks at the bar. He told Hawksbee & Jacobs: “I wouldn’t say I am a lightweight. I don’t want to wake up Friday morning going home or going to a competition feeling rough.” The teenager is enjoying being able to travel around the UK and Europe for events following his meteoric rise to the top of the sport. He added: “For myself, it’s about not keeping myself locked away and just going out. That triumph sits alongside four nightly wins in this year’s Premier League to lead the standings after nine weeks of action. He is set to take on Gerwyn Price in Manchester on Thursday after resting at the weekend by not competing on the Euro Tour. Instead, Aspinall was beaten by Stephen Bunting in the final of the International Darts Open in Riesa, Germany on Sunday.
