Is Another Simple Favor's Rotten Tomatoes audience score the victim of review bombing over Blake Lively's lawsuit?
A few months after the release and subsequent box office success of It Ends with Us, a Colleen Hoover adaptation that survived a barrage of speculation during production, star Blake Lively sued her director and co-actor Justin Baldoni for inappropriate behavior on set. Baldoni has denied any wrongdoing, and has counter-sued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging defamation. The legal battle is still unfolding, but its fallout was felt last week, when Lively returned with her first film since It Ends with Us, the Prime Video sequel Another Simple Favor. While the movie opened to mostly positive reviews, it would seem like it has become the latest victim of review-bombing.
