All 3 Movies in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead Trilogy, Ranked

For more than 40 years, the Evil Dead series has endured as a staple of the horror genre, and is a particularly beloved one for those who like possession-related horror and over-the-top bloodshed. Sam Raimi was the mastermind behind what eventually became a series, as he directed the original film and its first two sequels. He also played a role in the TV series Ash vs Evil Dead, being one of its creators and the director of the first episode, but that show’s not going to be counted for present ranking purposes. It’s hard to compare a TV show to a bunch of movies, especially when Raimi himself didn’t direct the entire thing. But hey, it’s a continuation of sorts for a beloved trilogy of movies, and Bruce Campbell does reprise his role as Ash Williams, so it’s worth at least mentioning.
