It's been years, and, yet, there are still complaints echoing around the internet about Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi. Instead of a living action figure, the movie portrays him in a more human light — still powerful, but deeply flawed and aware of it — which enraged a sect of Star Wars fans who wanted their childhood hero to be perfect. However, what most people don't realize is that there was already a movie in Hollywood that fell prey to the trap of a perfect legacy hero: TRON: Legacy. There, which Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) is pretty much everything fanboys wanted Luke to be in The Last Jedi, and, well, it doesn't really work.
