T-Mobile Starlink Beta Free to Try Until July for All, Including AT&T and Verizon Customers

T-Mobile has announced that 'T-Mobile Starlink,' its new satellite-based messaging service, is now available in public beta. Developed in partnership with Starlink, the service uses satellites equipped with Direct-to‑Cell technology to deliver text messages (with plans to add picture messaging, data, and voice calls later) to areas that lack traditional cell tower coverage. T‑Mobile Starlink relies on specially configured satellites orbiting at over 200 miles above Earth and traveling at speeds exceeding 17,000 miles per hour. When a user's smartphone moves out of range of conventional cell towers, it automatically connects to the satellite network. This seamless switch means that users do not need to manually adjust settings. The service is designed to work on most smartphones from the last four years, including many recent iPhone models, ensuring that Apple users remain connected in remote or "dead zone" areas.Continue ReadingSpotlight Deal:New Apple iPad mini 7 On Sale for $399!
