“Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld” Trailer

The first trailer has been released for the Lucasfilm Animation anthology series “Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld” which premieres next month.

This marks the third season of ‘Tales’ following 2022’s “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” which focused on stories involving Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, and then 2024’s “Star Wars: Tales of the Empire” which focused on Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee.

This outing will again deal with two characters, both of whom were introduced during “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”. On the one hand is Asajj Ventress who serves as the personal assassin of Dooku. On the other is Cad Bane, the blue-skinned and red-eyed mercenary.

In the run, former assassin and bounty hunter Asajj Ventress is given a new chance at life and must go on the run with an unexpected new ally, while outlaw Cad Bane faces his past when he confronts an old friend, now a Marshal on the opposite side of the law.

The voice cast includes Nika Futterman, Corey Burton, Artt Butler, Lane Factor, AJ LoCascio, Clare Grant, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, and Eric Lopez. Filoni created the series and serves as the supervising director, while Matt Michnovetz writes.

The entire run will premiere on the Disney+ service on Star Wars Day – May 4th.
