Experienced airline executive Paul Schwaiger has become Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Corendon Airlines. He succeeds in Mine Aslan, who has made significant contributions to the airline’s success over the years.

Schwaiger is already well acquainted with Corendon Airlines, having served as a strategic advisor since March 2024. During this time, he has worked with the leadership team, contributing to various commercial and structural improvements.

“We are very pleased to welcome Paul Schwaiger as our CCO,” said Yıldıray Karaer, founder and CEO of Corendon Airlines. “Paul will lead our commercial operations. He brings a wealth of strategic and operational expertise and has already played a key role in enhancing our sales organisation and streamlining key processes.”

“It is both an honour and a challenge to work with the professional team at Corendon Airlines to ensure a safe and profitable future,” said Schwaiger. “With our Turkish and European operating licenses, we serve key leisure destinations across Turkey and Europe, working with passion to deliver memorable holidays to our customers.”

Recognised as an experienced leader in the airline industry, Schwaiger has cultivated strong networks across sales and tour operator partnerships. His career includes leadership roles at Lufthansa in both Germany and Asia, as well as senior positions at renowned leisure carriers such as SunExpress and Condor. He has also played a significant role in strengthening tourism from German-speaking markets to Türkiye.

This spring Corendon Airlines celebrates its 20th anniversary. During the 2025 summer season, the airline is operating flights from a wide range of airports across the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Austria, and Switzerland to top vacation destinations in Spain, Greece, Egypt, and Türkiye.
