Read on to find out more about who will be judging this year's entries:
Mexican architect Palacios, the founder of Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados, will join the architecture judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2025.
Palacios' work ranges from residential spaces to cultural and artistic interventions that enrich human experience and connect with their natural environments. Recent examples include the first all-mass timber structural system in Mexico, a rammed-earth coastal guesthouse for Danish homeware brand Vipp and a grey stucco house with open-air terraces in the forest of Valle de Bravo.
Designer Valle, who co-founded New York-based interior design firm Studio Giancarlo Valle, will join Linda Morey-Burrows on this year's interiors judging panel.
Dedicated to creating spaces that are playful, studied and unexpected, Valle's work ranges from residential to commercial interiors and furniture design. Notable interiors include a renovation project of a 20th-century cinema into a rug showroom in Stockholm.
At this year's NYCxDesign, Valle will collaborate with Spanish furniture company BD Barcelona to reimagine furniture designs by architect Antoni Gaudí and showcase his original designs.
Joining Valle is French designer Walala, founder of London-based multidisciplinary art and design firm Walala Studio.
Known for her colourful geometric creations divided by bold black lines, Walala has redefined the boundaries of street art and urban design. Her work is cited as part of a wider movement coined the "New London Fabulous" - referring to designers who consciously use colour and pattern as joyous interventions.
Notable projects include reviving east London high street with community-funded artwork and creating a pop-up Supermarket food store at the Design Museum.
US gallerist and curator Greenberg Rohatyn, who founded and runs Salon 94 and Salon 94 Design, will join Tokujin Yoshioka as a design judge.
Internationally acclaimed for her keen eye and ability to identify and celebrate artistic talents, Greenberg Rohatyn's innovative spaces showcase radical designers who challenge cultural boundaries.
In her New York-based gallery, she recently hosted a dual exhibition that showcased hundreds of pieces by UK designer Max Lamb and pieces made with cord-covered waste material by South Korean designer Jay Sae Jung Oh.
