Bethesda just released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on PS5, allowing gamers to revisit Cyrodiil during the Oblivion crisis. For some, earning trophies makes any game worth playing, especially when it is as beloved as this RPG. Luckily for trophy hunters, the platinum trophy for the new release is a simple one that shouldn’t take too long to earn.

How long will it take to earn The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Platinum trophy?

When the leaks and rumors regarding The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered were out and about, gamers probably hoped that one thing that remained intact from the original was the trophy list. Essentially, players just had to play through the main quest and the guild quests to earn every trophy in the base game. Fortunately, this seems to be the case as the trophy list spotted on PSN Profiles is exactly the same from the original.

Although this “remaster” puts a fresh coat of paint on the beloved RPG, it seems like the quests are all the same. That being said, we should have a pretty good indication of how long it will take to get the platinum trophy in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

According to Xbox Achievements, it takes just 25 hours to get every achievement for the original release, including those added with the Shivering Isles DLC. However, other websites, like True Achievements, as well as fans of the game claimed it took them around 70 hours to complete the list. Obviously, mileage may vary per user depending on how lost or distracted they may be when exploring Cyrodiil. For those who like to just sprint through a game, this may be a pretty quick and easy platinum.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available now on PS5 for $49.99. There is also a Deluxe Edition available for $59.99.
