Midweek football acca tips [12-15 May 2025]

The 2024/25 season is almost over, but there are still prizes up for grabs all the way across Europe. We have previewed five of the matches taking place in England, Italy and Spain between Monday and Thursday. Quick acca tips A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £55, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £165. 3⃣ Three-fold acca Espanyol vs Barcelona: Barcelona to score in both halves (5/6) Sunderland vs Coventry City: Coventry or draw (4/6) Bologna vs Milan: Milan to lift the trophy (4/5) Back the 3-fold acca at bet365 to win £55 (including 5% boost) from a £10 bet 5⃣ Five-fold acca Add this to the mix for a winning five-fold: Atalanta vs Roma: Both teams to score (4/6) Sheffield United vs Bristol City: Sheffield United to win (4/5) Back our 5-fold acca at bet365 to win £165 (including 10% boost) from a £10 bet Espanyol vs Barcelona: Barcelona to score in both halves (5/6) Barcelona are almost there. A remarkable 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the Clasico on Sunday means Hansi Flick’s team are on the verge of winning the La Liga title. It was not all smooth sailing. Barca went 2-0 down to their arch-rivals early on. Had the scorelined stayed like that, the gap between the top two would have been down to a single point. Instead, Barcelona’s triumph over Madrid (their fourth of the season across three different competitions) has left them with a seven-point advantage at the summit of the standings with three games left to play. Madrid’s inferior head-to-head record means they must beat Real Mallorca on Wednesday to keep the race alive. But even if they do that, Barcelona will secure the prize with a win the following night. Espanyol, Barcelona’s local rivals, would love to throw a spanner in the works, but Flick’s side are lethal going forward and that should make the difference. Back Barcelona to score in both halves at 5/6 with bet365 Sunderland vs Coventry City: Coventry or draw (4/6) It is advantage Sunderland at the midway point of this Championship play-off semi-final. The Black Cats won 2-1 away from home in the first leg and they are now strong favourites to advance to the final at Wembley, scheduled for May 24. It would be a mistake to rule Coventry out, though. They are only a goal behind on aggregate, so this one is far from done. Whereas Coventry’s task is clear – they must go to the Stadium of Light and win – Sunderland are at risk of being caught in two minds. Frank Lampard’s side will not necessarily come out on top on the night. Coventry’s away record in the regular season was only the 12th-best in the division. All things considered, we expect the Sky Blues to at least avoid defeat on Tuesday. Choose Coventry or draw at 4/6 with bet365 Bologna vs Milan: Milan to lift the trophy (4/5) The Coppa Italia final is scheduled for Wednesday night, as Bologna and Milan go head-to-head at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Bologna are targeting their first major trophy since they won this tournament back in 1974, while Milan are aiming to claim the prize for the 16th time in their history. This is a tough game to call. Milan are clearly the bigger club, but they are two points behind Bologna in the Serie A standings. The Rossoneri have been plagued by inconsistency all season long. The difference between Good Milan and Bad Milan is so vast that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde would have aroused little suspicion in comparison.  It is hard to know which version will turn up this week, although it is worth noting that Milan beat Bologna 3-1 in Serie A at the weekend. Sergio Conceicao’s side are in good form and they should edge out Bologna in the final. Tip Milan to win Coppa Italia at 4/5 with bet365 Atalanta vs Roma: Both teams to score (4/6) Atalanta and Roma are ready to butt heads on Monday night in an important encounter for both teams. A victory for Atalanta would confirm their place in next season’s Champions League. A win for Roma, on the other hand, would see them climb into the top four with two games remaining. Claudio Ranieri has done a magnificent job at the Stadio Olimpico. After Roma persuaded him to come out of retirement to lead his boyhood club once again, Ranieri was tasked with simply steadying the ship. Roma have not lost any of their last 19 Serie A games. They have risen from 15th in November to sixth in May. Ranieri deserves a huge amount of credit whatever happens from here. Roma are not the most free-scoring side, yet they have found the back of the net in each of those 19 unbeaten matches.  Atalanta are Serie A’s second-highest scorers, so goals at both ends looks a wise choice. Tip both teams to score at 4/6 with bet365 Sheffield United vs Bristol City: Sheffield United to win (4/5) Bristol City’s season is almost certainly over. A 3-0 home defeat by Sheffield United in the first leg of t
