Michael Monroe Talks Tour, Vince Neil On ‘Lipps Service’

Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe is the latest guest on the SPIN Presents Lipps Service podcast, during which he joins host Scott Lipps for a discussion about his ongoing tour and upcoming album and reconciling with Motley Crue’s Vince Neil, in whose car Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas ‘Razzle’ Dingley died in a 1984 car accident.

“I just saw the sadness and what he’s been going through. I could just see in his eyes,” Monroe says of meeting with Neil in 2023. “Vince is the guy who suffered the most with the accident. I realized that then.”

Monroe also talks about his Swedish upbringing, the influence of American rock pioneers such as Little Richard and Elvis Presley and the final Hanoi Rocks performance. The episode ends with a list of Monroe’s top five records everyone should own.
