NCTE wishes our members and teachers everywhere a happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

To extend our appreciation and share a little joy, we invite members to click here to enter to win an exclusive set of NCTE merch and books, including:

The deadline to enter is Thursday, May 8. Five winners will be chosen at random and notified on Friday, May 9.
Additionally, NCTE announced today that through a new grant program supported by the Rise Up Foundation, 50 K-8 educators will receive scholarships to attend the 2025 NCTE Annual Convention in Denver this November.
In addition to having registration fees covered, scholarship recipients will participate in an exclusive, interactive writing workshop.
They will also be recognized at a private dinner with other teachers and education organization leaders.
