SKY BET – Bet anything and get £30 in free bets on football – CLAIM HERE* League One final day fixtures (all Sat, 3pm kick offs): Blackpool v Bristol Rovers Bolton v Stevenage Cambridge v Birmingham Charlton v Burton Huddersfield v Leyton Orient Lincoln v Wrexham Mansfield v Exeter Northampton v Wigan Reading v Barnsley Rotherham v Peterborough Shrewsbury v Crawley Wycombe v Stockport The title, automatic promotion and the battle for relegation has all been decided in English football’s third tier this season ahead of the final game of the campaign, but five into four doesn’t go in the race for the play-offs, with only goal difference currently separating sixth and seventh. Leyton Orient and Reading currently sit either side of the top six barrier, level on points and with only one final match to play this season. The London side travel to Huddersfield, knowing that a win would guarantee them that fourth and final play-off spot, while Reading welcome Barnsley, to the Madejski Stadium, knowing they must better Orient’s result, with eight goals currently separating the sides in the table. Just two points separates third from fifth, with the play-off semi finals still yet to be decided between the teams already qualified, who will be gunning for that third place spot and at least a home second leg. Just one goal separates third placed Stockport and fourth placed Wycombe, who sit level on 84 points, and as fate would have it the two sides go head to head against each other at Adams Park. With both teams not able to leave, it leaves fifth placed Charlton, sat two points below, likely unable to finish third barring a 6-0 win over Burton, and will leave them hoping of a fourth placed finish and a home second leg to their play-off semi final. League One champions Birmingham have already broken the EFL record for points points picked up in a season following their 2-0 win at Blackpool on Wednesday night, and can take their tally to 111 points with victory at an already relegated Cambridge side on Saturday. Wrexham will be joining the Blues in the second tier next season after and will travel to Lincoln for their final outing in League One having secured their third consecutive opponents. All four relegated slots have already been secured following Burton’s midweek point, which confirmed the status of Crawley and Bristol Rovers as League Two clubs for next season, alongwith Cambridge and Shrewsbury, whose fates had already been sealed.
