Jamie Vardy snubs Wrexham transfer and wants to join Premier League team
He will be a free agent this summer.

Jamie Vardy has snubbed transfer interest from Wrexham AFC and wants to join a Premier League team when his Leicester City deal ends in June, according to reports.
Vardy recently announced he is leaving Leicester at the end of the season and is able to join a new club as a free agent in the summer window.
The 38-year-old has enjoyed an incredible 13-year stint at the King Power Stadium in which the Foxes won the Premier League at odds of 5000/1.
Vardy, who has scored 198 goals in 497 games for Leicester, also clinched the FA Cup, Community Shield and Premier League Golden Boot.
Despite approaching 40, the legendary striker has no desire to enter retirement and wants to continue his incredible playing career.
Vardy has been strongly linked with a move to Wrexham, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who have secured promotion to the second-tier Championship from League One this season.
But Vardy has now told the Welsh club that he has no desire to join a Championship side because he wants to continue playing in the top-flight.
Vardy has scored seven goals and provided three assists across 32 games for Leicester this season – but the club have been relegated to the Championship.
The Foxes icon firmly believes he can still contribute to a Premier League team, Sky Sports reported on Monday, which comes as a blow to clubs outside of the country who had been hoping to sign him this summer.
Vardy has attracted interest from a number of American teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) as well as from sides in the Saudi Pro League.
‘Jamie Vardy could help Burnley stay up next season’

Former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp feels Vardy could be a good fit for Burnley, who have secured promotion to the Premier League this season under the management of Scott Parker.
‘He would be a great value signing for any club,’ Redknapp told BetVictor. ‘It’s a no brainer in my eyes – he gives everything and works so hard.
‘A team like Burnley who have been promoted, his goals could help them stay up.’
Redknapp has also warned Vardy that he may not ‘be on the radar of Premier League clubs’ and would be a perfect fit for Wrexham if he changed his mind.
‘Jamie Vardy would be a fantastic signing for Wrexham,’ Redknapp added. ‘He could get any team promoted next season from the Championship, I still think he has a lot to offer in a team that can make chances for him.
‘It would be a great move for Wrexham. I don’t think he will be on the radar of Premier League clubs, but that said, I think he’s fantastic.
‘His work rate and everything about him is brilliant, if I was in the Championship I’d be moving heaven and earth to sign him.’
