Emil Frey Racing and AF Corse led a Ferrari 1-2 in qualifying for GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Race 2 at Zandvoort, with Ben Green capturing his first pole position of the season.

Green steered the No. 14 Ferrari 296 GT3 to a best lap of 1:33.144, outpacing Emil Frey stablemate Chris Lulham by 0.158 seconds. Lulham also captured Gold Cup pole.

Notably, Ferrari initially appeared to have completed a sweep of the top three with Arthur Leclerc third in the No. 50 AF Corse machine.

However, the Monegasque driver was bumped to fourth after a time for the No. 63 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 was reinstated.

Jordan Pepper was initially without a time at the end of the session after an apparent track limit infringement, but the South African’s 1:33.378 was later good enough for third overall.

Similarly to Saturday’s qualifying, the field was split into two separate sessions in order to allow for sufficient track space, with the Pro and Gold Cup cars venturing out first.

In contrast to the previous day, where Bastian Buus took outright pole by going fastest in the second session for Silver and Bronze Cup cars, the fastest times in Sunday qualifying primarily came from the opening segment.

Lorens Lecertua was the fastest driver from the second session, capturing Silver Cup pole position and slotting into fifth overall aboard the No. 26 Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

The Belgian was 0.028 seconds faster than Saturday race winner Sven Mueller in the No. 96 Rutronik Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R, with Maro Engel and Benjamin Goethe seventh and eighth for Winward Racing and Garage 59, respectively.

Kelvin van der Linde qualified ninth in the No. 32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO, overshooting Turn 11 and taking to the runoff on a late attempt.

Ezequiel Perez Companc was ten overall and second in Silver Cup aboard the No. 99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi.

Bronze Cup pole position went to the No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Dustin Blattner in 23rd overall.

Notably, four cars (the No. 32 and No. 777 BMWs as well as both the No. 58 and No. 59 McLarens) are under investigation for a breach of parc ferme.

The second and final Sprint Cup race of the weekend is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. CEST (8:45 a.m. EST).
