French Open 2025: What has been said?

Djokovic will no longer have Andy Murray by his side when competing in the French Open later this month.

After six months of working together, Murray has parted ways, with Djokovic saying: “Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun [and] support over the last six months on [and] off the court.

“[I have] really enjoyed deepening our friendship together.”

Murray said: “Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months.

“I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season.”

Away from the singles competition, Nick Kyrgios is going to make a return to the French Open for the first time in eight years.

Kyrgios, who has only played four singles matches in 2025, said: “The French Open was never really on the cards.

“But after the stuff with Max Purcell, Jordan was looking for a partner, and he asked me if I wanted to play.

“We’ve played at the French Open before, so it’ll be good to get out there and play with another fellow Aussie and have a bit of fun.”
