Rudiger is facing the harshest punishment after he was caught making a throat-slitting gesture towards Atletico’s supporters in the aftermath of the shootout. Mbappe was seen grabbing his genitals in front of Atletico’s fans before he was seen grabbing the Madrid badge on his shirt. Vinicius was seen placing his Madrid coat on the pitch in front of the Atletico fans and pointing to the ground after the penalty shootout, while during the game the Brazilian winger also goaded Atletico’s fans about the club’s failure to win a Champions League trophy.
