The story, created by Gema R. Neira and María José Rustarazo, centers around Elena Bianda, a lady’s companion who helps young unmarried women from high society find the ideal husband. Smart and skilled, Elena sees a golden opportunity when she meets the Mencía sisters, Cristina, Sara, and Carlota, aged 20, 18, and 14, respectively.
Being motherless, the girls urgently need a lady’s companion to guide them in the search for a prosperous marriage, which becomes a priority for their father… and Elena plans to take full advantage of this opportunity to ensure her job for a long time.

Will The Lady’s companion have a season 2?

(SPOILER ALERT!) At the end of the series, the Mencía sisters feel betrayed by Elena after learning a shocking revelation about her past. When the engagement between Santiago and Cristina seems to be solidifying, Eduardo returns to try to win back the affection of Pedro’s eldest daughter.
Thanks to alcohol, Santiago finds the courage to confess his feelings; however, upon arriving at the Mencía house, he receives unexpected news and decides to leave the city. Elena can’t stop it, and now, she not only loses her beloved but also her job.
On the other hand, the story of Josefina, who is having a romance with the young high-society woman she is caring for, and the story of Adela, who falls in love with the son of the woman she works for, remains unresolved.
With all these unanswered questions, it’s possible that the series could have a second season, in which Elena may resolve her conflicts, and more about the love stories of both Josefina and Adela could be revealed. However, we will have to wait for Netflix to make any official announcements in the coming weeks or months.
