Canada’s Anna Huang, Leah John and Celeste Dao all qualified over the past few weeks for the LPGA major in Erin, Wis., May 29-June 1.
Dao, a 24-year-old from Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, Que., was the latest to book her ticket, qualifying Monday by winning a 36-hole qualifier by four shots in Peabody, Mass.
It was Dao’s fourth time qualifying for the major in the state.
“I think it is my lucky state,” Dao told Massgolf.org. “Every year, I look forward to playing, even though it’s not always great, ideal conditions. I love Massachusetts courses, and I look forward to playing more.”
Dao has been playing recently on the Annika Women’s All Pro Tour.
Huang earned her spot by finishing second at a qualifier May 1 in New Albany, Ohio.
The 16-year-old Vancouver native turned professional this off-season and has made four of five cuts on the Ladies European Tour.
John tied for first at a qualifier in Sacramento, Calif., on April 21.
The 25-year-old Vancouver native has made one of five cuts on the Epson Tour this season.
Henderson, from Smiths Falls, Ont., is Canada’s top player on the LPGA Tour and will play in the event for the 13th year in a row.
