Beverly D’Angelo, Justin Chatwin & Mischa Barton Join ‘Sleepwalker’ Cast

Reality and nightmare collide in the upcoming thriller Sleepwalker starring Hayden Panettiere (Scream VI), and Deadline brings us more casting news this week.

Beverly D’Angelo (Violent Night), Justin Chatwin (Shameless), and Mischa Barton (The Sixth Sense) have joined Hayden Panettiere in psychological thriller Sleepwalker.

Lori Tan Chinn (Orange is the New Black), Laird LaCoste, Corinne Sweeney, Kea Ho (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Eric Lutes (Caroline in the City), Tom DeNucci (Junction) and Rob Goon (The Roaring Game) also star, Deadline notes in their latest report.

“Sleepwalker follows a grieving mother who is haunted by the tragic loss of her daughter in a car accident that left her abusive husband in a coma. As she battles a surreal descent into darkness, her sleepwalking episodes intensify. Plagued by haunting visions of her husband inside their home, she grapples with the blurred lines between reality and nightmare.”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions and Verdi Productions are producing Sleepwalker, written and directed by Brandon Auman. The feature adapts his same-titled short.

Brandon Auman has written for various shows over the years including “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour,” “Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Blade Runner: Black Lotus.” He’ll be making his feature directorial debut with Sleepwalker.
