Paramount Pictures has announced that their theatrical release connected to Avatar: The Last Airbenderwill now premiere in theaters on October 9, 2026, after previously being scheduled to debut on January 30, 2026. It's been more than a year since the studio provided audiences with any updates regarding the release date of the highly-anticipated projects. The October 2026 release date was previously held by the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. That project has also been delayed, as Paramount organizes its upcoming film slate.
