If you follow the Porsche racing community and enjoyed the American Le Mans Series era, you remember clearly the red dragon livery of Flying Lizard Motorsports and its stout driver line-ups of Jörg Bergmeister, Patrick Long, Marc Lieb, Richard Lietz, and the team’s current owner Darren Law.

We caught up with Law — 21 years down the road since the Flying Lizard’s founding by Seth Neiman in 2003 — at the team’s new 15,000 square foot trackside headquarters at Apex Motor Club outside Phoenix. Once a factory-supported North American team leading the development of the 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs, now racing globally in Lamborghini Super Trofeo and SRO International.
