Wishy announce new EP ‘Planet Popstar,’ share “Fly,” touring with Momma
Wishy released their fantastic debut LP, ’Triple Seven,’ in August, and they’ll follow it with ’Planet Popstar’ in April.

Following the release of their fantastic debut LP, Triple Seven, in August, Wishy have announced a new EP. Planet Popstar is due out April 25 via Winspear, and features b-sides that were recorded during the Triple Seven sessions. The first single is the hazy “Fly,” of which Nina Pitchkites says, “This song conveys a general theme of enjoying the present, being in love, and not taking yourself too seriously. Me, Kevin [Krauter], and Steve Marino co-wrote this song around the same time we wrote the track ‘Triple Seven.’ It was one of several demos that Steve brought to the table for us to toy with.”
Vinyl editions of Planet Popstar will come on a two-sided 12″ with Wishy’s debut EP, 2023’s Paradise, on the b-side. This will be the first physical release of Paradise, and it’s available for pre-order now.
Wishy will be on tour with Momma this spring, including an NYC show at Warsaw on May 31. See all dates below.
