What’s the future like after starting as a Technical Account Manager? [closed]
I’m a 23M, about to graduate with a bachelor’s in engineering, and I recently got placed in a private cloud-based global MNC that provides enterprise solutions like servers, storage, and cloud infrastructure. The role I’ve been offered is “Technical Account Manager” (TAM). I’ll be honest — I hadn’t heard much about this role before, but people around me say it’s a good opportunity. Still, I’m confused and want to understand what this path really looks like. What kind of future can I expect from this role? What fields or positions can I transition into later — like product management, solutions architecture, or leadership roles? Also, is this a role where one can really “make it big” in terms of growth and salary? P.S- the role doesn't involve coding
