For gamers looking to capture the feeling of being on the pitwall at a grand prix rather than behind the wheel, F1 Clash is the game you need.
As the only officially licensed, management-oriented F1 game updated with the full 2025 roster of cars and drivers, it offers a truly unique gaming experience.
In F1 Clash you unlock and upgrade parts for your custom car and drivers from those on the current grid. So rookies such as Kimi Antonelli, Ollie Bearman and Isack Hadjar make their debut in the game.
On top of the 20 current F1 drivers are several legend drivers that you can recruit to your team. Former Jordan and Renault F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella joins the pool alongside past champions including Jenson Button and both Damon and Graham Hill.
Coming to the game at a later date will be the icons of Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.
A new season update also comes with a complete reset, making it a perfect opportunity for newcomers to join.
In each race you'll have to work out the best tyre strategy and react accordingly to safety cars and changes in weather. The player who has the highest combined race points between their two drivers is the winner.
As a player you can progress up through the series, each with their own selection of circuits, in the duels mode. Or you can take part in tournament-style 'grand prix' events which are themed around the grand prix taking place in real-life during that weekend.
New for this season is a DRS-inspired boost mechanic, adding a new layer of strategy to the racing.
Selected rear wings give players a rechargeable boost that can be activated to help move your drivers further up the order or defend from a fast charging car behind.
Since the DRS boost is manually activated in F1 Clash, there's different ways to go about using it to your advantage; whether that's to wait until your rival uses it, negating their advantage, or using it as soon as possible on each recharge to get the maximum uses from it each race, or to save it for the longest straight on the circuit to maximise its effect.
Since F1 Clash mirrors the F1 calendar, DRS is particularly effective at circuits with long, flat out sections such as Monza or Baku.
That's not the only trade-off you'll have to make as there's numerous stats defining different strengths and weaknesses for each car part and driver.
Every part contributes to your car's performance on the straights and in the corners and it may be beneficial to swap out parts depending on the circuit you'll be racing at. Or you could prioritise parts that reduce your pitstop time to get the jump on your rivals that way.
Likewise each driver has their own ratings when it comes to overtaking and defending but an often-overlooked attribute is tyre management. A high rating in that area can open up new viable strategies using softer tyre compounds, ultimately getting you to the chequered flag sooner.
That combination of off-track and in-race management, combined with the full 2025 F1 driver and team roster, makes F1 Clash stand apart from any other mobile racing manager game.
F1 Clash is free to download and play on both iOS and Android devices.
