Virgin Australia Velocity 30% Conversion Bonus From Accor, IHG & Shangri-La Through June 6, 2025

Virgin Australia’s Velocity has launched a 30% conversion bonus from three hotel loyalty programs through June 6, 2025.

Velocity will bonus conversions from Accor, IHG, and Shangri-La by 30% if done during the promo period.

10,000 IHG One Rewards points = 2,000 Virgin Velocity miles BEFORE 30% bonus

4,000 Accor ALL points = 4,000 Virgin Velocity miles BEFORE 30% bonus

Conclusion

I used to convert hotel points to airline miles in the past, but this rarely makes much sense today, considering how devalued these airline programs have become.

It can still make sense if you have no other use for hotel points, but could use Virgin Australia Velocity miles instead.
