Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou were one of the first 90 Day Fiancécouples whose storyline captivated me – and possibly one of the last. They made their debut on the TLC show in Season 4. Nicole, who was 21 at the time, from Florida, and Azan, then 24, and from Morocco, met online. But there were problems from the start, including different cultures, clashing expectations, and serious communication issues. Viewers, like myself, questioned if they were in it for the right reasons. And Azan’s vocalness about Nicole’s weight and fitness level quickly suggested he wasn’t as in-love with her as he tried to portray.
