BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has unveiled her sultry new single, ‘Messy’, for the F1 film soundtrack – check it out below.

‘Messy’ is an original ballad penned for the upcoming F1 film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris among others. The song marks the second track to be released from its star-studded soundtrack, following Don Toliver‘s and Doja Cat‘s ‘Lose My Mind’.

On ‘Messy’, Rosé sings: “So, baby, let’s get messy / Let’s get all the way undone / Come over, undress me just like I’ve never been touched / Baby, I’m obsessed with you and there’s no replica / Maybe if it’s messy / Then you know it’s really love“.

Messy comes with an accompanying music video that sees the K-pop singer in various locations, including a bar where portions of the film was shot. Footage from the film – including scenes with Brad Pitt – is also shown in the video. Watch it below.

Joining her on the F1 soundtrack are Ed SheeranBurna BoyTate McRaeRAYEDom DollaMadison BeerSexyy Redd and more. The album, simply titled ‘F1 The Album’ is scheduled for release on June 27.

The F1 film is due for release on June 25 in the UK, with releases in the US and Canada on June 27. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton. Pitt stars as former F1 driver Sonny Hayes, who returns to the sport to partner rookie team mate Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), at the fictional APXGP team.

Rosé’s solo album ‘rosie’ dropped on December 6, 2024. It come out alongside a music video for single ‘toxic till the end’. The record featured 12 tracks in total, including her Billboard Hot 100 and record-breaking hit ‘APT.’, featuring Bruno Mars.

‘APT.’ later went on to be named by NME as one of the best 50 songs of 2024 and one of the best 25 K-pop songs of the year. In a four-star review of the albumNME’s Crystal Bell wrote that the album “offers a rare and intimate invitation to understand Rosé as more than just a star — to see Rosie, the woman, searching for validation, love and meaning”.

Following the release of her album, BLACKPINK have announced a 2025 tour taking place at stadiums in the UK, North America, Europe and Asia. The final date of the tour will be held at Wembley Stadium in London, and will mark a huge milestone for the four-piece as they become the first-ever K-pop girl group to headline the venue – visit here for any remaining UK tickets and here for international shows.

Rosé’s BLACKPINK groupmate Lisa also recently revealed that the K-pop titans are back in the studio working on a new album, going as far as to say that the record is “coming soon”.
