This All-But-Forgotten 2000s Horror Movie Has a Jaw-Dropping Opening Kill Scene Straight Out of a Final Destination Film

Over-the-top, gory kill scenes have long been a part of horror. '80s slashers had masked killers spilling blood left and right. In the 2000s, the Saw and Hostel movies made splatter a part of the story. Today, gore is celebrated in the Terrifier franchise and In a Violent Nature. Then there's the Final Destination films, which, for a quarter of a century now, have used mass death as the focal point. Among these examples is a lesser-known movie that missed the mark, but despite its failures, it has one of the most memorable and shocking kills you'll ever see. Maybe the rest of the movie will slip your mind, but there is no forgetting the opening scene of 2002's Ghost Ship.
