One of Star Wars’ longest-tenured stars has just pulled back the curtain on a project that never made it to fruition. Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) recently sat down for an interview with Variety to promote Revenge of the Sith’s return to theaters for its 20th anniversary, and he spilled all the juicy details on the former politician/Sith lord who orchestrated the demise of the Jedi. One of the things McDiarmid spoke about what the planned Palpatine TV series that was reportedly in the works years ago that never came to fruition.
