The Black Keys announce new album ‘No Rain, No Flowers,’ share title track

The Black Keys have announced their 13th album, No Rain, No Flowers, which will be out August 8 via Easy Eye Sound / Parlophone. They worked with veteran producer/songwriter Rick Nowels and Daniel Tashian on this one, which also features former Roots member Scott Storch.

“I had worked with Rick Nowels on Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence,” says Dan Auerbach. “We’d never really collaborated with a keyboard player or someone who writes on piano the way he does, but it clicked immediately. We wanted to go straight to the source—into the room with people known for their songwriting. Daniel Tashian was one of the first people I met after moving to Nashville, and we’ve been fans of Scott Storch forever.”

The first single from No Rain, No Flowers is its title track and you can listen to that below.

The Black Keys are on tour this year and play NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on August 13 as part of their summer run with Gary Clark Jr. All dates are below.
