T-Mobile has been in the spotlight a lot lately, and not for good reasons either. And here we are once again. Apparently, many T-Mobile customers are upset with the latest T-Mobile Tuesdays offers that haven’t worked.

T-Mobile Tuesdays has been offering some pretty nice perks over the years. I remember at the very beginning, T-Mobile was giving everyone a free pizza, which caused chaos at Domino’s stores every Tuesday. That got worked out, however. So, T-Mobile Tuesdays is not new to chaos, and this time it’s Uber Eats.

The offer in question offered T-Mobile customers $25 off any Uber Eats order of $30 or more. However, a message in the T-Life app that everyone hates says that the deal is “no longer available due to high demand.” Uber is also claiming that the “promotion has been deactivated”. And also says that Uber has the right to disable promo codes and marketing campaigns, as outlined in their terms and conditions.

This is leaving many T-Mobile customers annoyed and pissed off

Many T-Mobile customers have taken to r/T-Mobile to vent their frustrations with the carrier, especially regarding recent promos like the WingStop promo and now this Uber Eats promo. One Redditor wrote, “What is the point of T-Mobile negotiating these offers if the vendors are going to pull them in bad faith!”

Another Redditor wrote, “They really need to start putting ‘limited availability’ or the first 10,000 people on these offers so people don’t get their hopes up.” Which they are right. T-Mobile needs to be more transparent with these offers.

While other Redditors are blaming Uber Eats and its lack of customer service for the issue.

This is a trend for T-Mobile Tuesdays

Back in March, T-Mobile came under fire for shutting down an offer in under 24 hours. The offer allowed T-Mobile customers to order a 3-piece chicken tender meal from WingStop for just a penny. The move to end that offer super early caused many to call it a scam on social media. It also caused ridiculously long lines at Wintstop locations across the country.

To T-Mobile’s credit, it did apologize and mention that it saw “record-high demand.”

I haven’t been a T-Mobile customer in a few years, but it sounds like T-Mobile Tuesdays is more of a hassle than it’s worth. T-Mobile really needs to go back to what they did in the early days of T-Mobile Tuesdays, and rotate deals to different customers. T-Mobile has over 130 million customers. Imagine every single one trying to go to Wingstop on the same day? That happened with Domino’s almost a decade ago. This caused loads of issues, and T-Mobile ultimately changed it so that every Tuesday, a different group of users got the offer throughout the month. Making it much more manageable.

Offers on T-Mobile Tuesdays have also gone downhill quite a bit over the years. So it might be time to say goodbye to this program, just like T-Mobile said goodbye to being the “Un-carrier”.
