'Sinners' Sprints Past Jordan Peele's 'Get Out' and 'Us' Box Office Records
Ryan Coogler's Sinners has officially passed Jordan Peele's Get Out and Us at the global box office.

Ever since its release, Ryan Coogler's Sinners has been compared to the high-concept genre films directed by Jordan Peele, both thematically and in terms of cultural impact. After establishing himself as a talented comedian, Peele made a massive career pivot with his directorial debut, the horror movie Get Out, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. He has since established himself as one of Hollywood's biggest directorial brands, sort of occupying the position vacated by M. Night Shyamalan. Coogler's success with Sinners, which has now out-grossed all three films directed by Peele, has elevated him to a similar stature.
