Sarah Michelle Gellar Continues Her TV Takeover With ‘Bad Summer People’ Adaptation
Following the success of Dexter: Original Sin, Sarah Michelle Gellar has set her next TV project with Bad Summer People.
Sarah Michelle Gellar fans who are still riding the high of her impending return as Buffy Summers in the revamped Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, will be thrilled to know that the actress has yet another TV project on the way. According to Deadline, the actress has signed on to star in the adaptation of Emma Rosenblum’s bestselling novel, Bad Summer People. Previously holding credits on shows like Dead to Me and No Good Deed, scribe Cara DiPaolo has signed on to bring the story from page to screen. On top of leading the cast, Gellar will also executive produce alongside DiPaolo, Riva Marker, Deanna Barillari, and JoAnne Colonna, while Linden Productions (Family Switch) and A + E Studios (The Lincoln Lawyer) will produce.
