‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Continues To Dominate HBO’s Global Chart Despite ’The Pitt’s S1 Finale
The White Lotus continues to be one of HBO's biggest hits, even as the also successful The Pitt wraps up its debut season.
This morning, friends are texting and co-workers are gathering around the water cooler (do they still have those?) to discuss the Season 1 finale of The Pitt. The Noah Wyle-led and executive-produced medical drama has been the talk of the town since it first rode the ambulance onto HBO back in January and, following a stressful and heartfelt first set of episodes, its mark can’t be understated. And yet, audiences around the world have crowned a different title on the network’s top spot. Despite its Season 3 finale coming out nearly one week ago, The White Lotus is comfortably enjoying its run as HBO’s most-watched title around the world. More than 40 countries have launched the Mike White-created anthology project to the top of the leaderboard, and it continues to fight off its biggest competitor — The Pitt — even after that grueling and tear-jerking season finale.
