Raptors’ Scottie Barnes out against Nets with hand injury
Star forward Scottie Barnes will miss Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a hand injury, the team announced shortly before tip-off.

Star forward Scottie Barnes will miss Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a hand injury, per the injury report shortly prior to tip-off.
Barnes, 23, was ruled out for the second straight game as he nurses a joint contusion on his right hand.
He joins Immanuel Quickley (rest), Jakob Poeltl (rest), Brandon Ingram (ankle), Gradey Dick (knee) and Ulrich Chomche (knee) on the sidelines.
Barnes, who’s suited up in 62 games, must play in Toronto’s three remaining contests after Sunday to be eligible for awards.
He is averaging 18.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 29.8 per cent on three pointers and 44 per cent overall.
