Alex Albon, Liam Lawson and Ollie Bearman have all lost points finishes in Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix sprint race.

Albon scored his and Williams's best sprint result in fourth but they have been stripped of that owing to exceeding the minimum speed under the safety car in three consecutive sectors. He's now classified 11th.

Lawson initially finished seventh but has lost that result - and is now 13th - owing to a collision with Fernando Alonso which Lawson was deemed at fault for. He also received a five-second penalty, plus a penalty point.

Bearman started the sprint in 19th but nailed a daredevil start where he split two cars with barely a car’s width between them, had a great battle with Carlos Sainz’s Williams and fought further forward amid the pitstops to slicks from intermediates.

Other incidents and penalties - including a similar one for Max Verstappen for the pit clash that hurt Bearman’s ex-F2 Prema team-mate Kimi Antonelli’s race - promoted Bearman further up to eighth, but now he's 14th.

Yuki Tsunoda, who started last behind Bearman, was the first driver to switch to slicks and narrowly missed out to Bearman for the last point on the road, but now moves up to sixth. Antonelli and Pierre Gasly round out the points-paying top eight.
