New Blondie action figure of Debbie Harry in her Vultures tee announced
Stein, who photographed Harry wearing the shirt in 1976, has called it a ”sacred relic.”

An iconic 1976 photo of Blondie vocalist Debbie Harry is the inspiration for a new action figure. Super7’s new 3.75″ ReAction Figure features Debbie dressed in a “Vultures” shirt, as photographed by her bandmate Chris Stein in 1976, and has multiple points of articulation and a microphone accessory. Stein has called the shirt “a sacred relic” and said he’s asked her to have it framed, and in a 2014 interview with Vulture, Harry said of it, “This design is from the ’70s. The original was found in a sporting-goods shop. We never knew what kind of team it was. It’s one of the first shirts I was photographed in. I wore it for shows.”
Blondie drummer Clem Burke passed away at the age of 70 earlier this month. Before that sad news surfaced, the band were expected to release a new album, produced by John Congleton, this year. Stein had posted a picture of Congleton and Harry together in the studio in December of 2024, with the caption, “New Blondie record next year.” It would be the follow-up to 2017’s Pollinator; stay tuned.
