Need advice: Data Analyst job offer vs. better-paying temp job

I’ve been offered a permanent Data Analyst role in London, with a 3-month probation and a salary of £26,000 per year. It’s a great opportunity in a field I want to grow in, and it includes training and development. However, I’ll need to commute from Northampton to London three times a week, which will be costly and tiring. At the same time, I’ve been offered a short-term scanning job for 3 months. It pays better and is paid weekly, but there’s no long-term security—and I’d need to start job hunting again once it ends. I’ve already signed the contract for the Data Analyst role, but I’m now unsure. Is it possible (or wise) to withdraw from a signed contract before starting? Also, is it worth taking a lower-paying role in London for the sake of experience and career development? Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
