Watch Live Friday: UFC 315 Official Weigh-in Show on Sportsnet
Before fighters step into the cage at UFC 315 they’ll have to step on the scale at Friday morning’s official weigh-in.
UFC 315 presented by Skilled Trades College takes place this weekend in Montreal and features a welterweight championship main event between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena and a women’s flyweight championship with Valentina Shevchenko and Manon Fiorot in the co-main.
Before those four athletes and the other 20 fighters scheduled for the card step into the Octagon on Saturday, they’ll need to successfully make weight on the eve of the event. Ian Machado Garry will also be stepping on the scale as the official main event backup fighter in case either Muhammad or Della Maddalena can’t go.
To help get you set for all the action, Sportsnet’s Aaron Bronsteter will be joined by former UFC middleweight title challenger Patrick Cote live during the official weigh-in on Friday morning beginning at 8:55 a.m. ET.
Bronsteter and Cote will be on site reporting the official weights for all UFC 315 competitors and will interview some of the participating fighters after they’ve weighed in.

Belal Muhammad faces Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title and women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko takes on top contender Manon Fiorot in the UFC’s anticipated return to Montreal. Watch UFC 315 on Saturday, May 10 with prelim coverage beginning 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, and pay-per-view main card starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
This special event will be available to stream live right here on Sportsnet.ca, as well as on Sportsnet+ and Sportsnet’s YouTube channel.
There will be a one-pound allowance for all non-title bouts, but Muhammad and Della Maddalena must weigh no heavier than an even 170 pounds, and Shevchenko and Fiorot no heavier than 125 pounds for their respective title fights to be made official.
In addition to the two title fights, there are six matchups featuring Canadian fighters plus a pair of former UFC champions in action on the undercard.
