Miles Teller is attached to star in “Winter Games” which has been set up at Paramount Pictures and is currently in development.
The story revolves around the high-stakes arena of the Winter Olympic Games, a perpetually overlooked skier and a self-sabotaging hockey legend who collide at their breaking points.
Their unexpected connection threatens her chance for a medal and his shot at a comeback as they navigate romance and redemption in the Olympic Village.
Tim and Trevor White are producing. Paul Downs Colaizzo is directing from a script co-written with Pat Cunnane.
The project continues Teller’s ties at Paramount where he starred in “Top Gun: Maverick” and is attached to star in a remake of “An Officer and a Gentleman”. Teller, Cunnane and the White’s recently worked together on A24’s “Eternity” which recently wrapped filming.
Teller recently starred in “The Gorge,” “Spiderhead” and “The Offer,” and has both “Eternity” and the Michael Jackson biopic “Michael” on the way.
