Cunha has been Wolves’ standout performer this season with 15 goals in the Premier League and is looking to leave the club this summer. United have made the 25-year-old one of their priority targets for the summer transfer window and talks have already begun over a move. It’s understood that Cunha is also keen to play under Ruben Amorim at United. According to Goal Brasil, Arsenal have also made a move to sign Cunha in recent weeks but the forward is close to reaching an agreement with United. The report claims that the final negotiations over personal terms are now under way, while United will pay Cunha’s £62.5 million release clause, plus a further £2.5m in add-ons. United, meanwhile, have no plans to sack Amorim if his side are beaten by Tottenham in the Europa League final on May 21.
