‘Match Game’ Reboot Finds New Host in ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Star
Only Murders in the Building star Martin Short will be the new host of ABC's rebooted Match Game, taking over the role from Alec Baldwin.
The new version of Match Game just got itself a fancy new host. Martin Shorthas been selected as the next star who will take contestants to the limit for ABC. The premise of the show features two participants as they attempt to take home a $25,000 cash prize. In order to walk away with the money, players have to match what the panel of celebrity guests are going to say in a variety of fill-the-blank dynamics. Whenever the participants do say the same thing as their celebrity counterparts, they're able to go home with an unpredictable amount of valuable rewards.
