Masai Ujiri to represent Raptors at NBA Draft Lottery
Among them, representing the Toronto Raptors will be team president Masai Ujiri. Last year, when the team ended up with the 8th overall pick that was forfeited to the San Antonio Spurs, the team was fronted by franchise star Scottie Barnes.

As teams hang on to hopes of ping-pong balls falling in their favour, we now know who’ll be present as the drama unfolds.
Representing the Toronto Raptors will be team president Masai Ujiri, who hasn’t pulled draft-lottery duties since 2016.
Live coverage of the draw results for the 14 non-playoff teams will be available Monday on Sportsnet at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
Toronto entered Monday with the seventh-best odds (7.5 per cent) of jumping to No. 1 and presumably drafting Duke standout Cooper Flagg, a 31.9 per cent chance at getting into the top four and a 68.1 per cent possibility of landing anywhere between Nos. 7-11.
Fred VanVleet represented the team in 2021 when it moved up to the fourth spot and eventually selected franchise star Scottie Barnes, while general manager Bobby Webster stepped in for the 2023 lottery when Toronto ended up at 13 and later took Gradey Dick out of Kansas.

Find out where the Raptors and others will pick at the NBA Draft. The NBA’s Draft Lottery goes Monday at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+.
Barnes represented the Raptors in last year’s lottery when the team fell to the eighth overall pick, forfeiting the selection to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Raptors finished the 2024-25 season with a 30-52 record, missing the playoffs for a third straight year. However, Toronto did go 13-14 after the all-star break while posting the NBA’s second-best defensive rating, proving some hope that — aided by a lottery selection — it could return to playoff contention next season.
The Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets each own a 14 per cent chance of landing the No. 1 pick.
Meanwhile, Webster will also be in attendance as he’ll be in the drawing room for the live non-televised portion of the event.
