Mark Ruffalo Is Brought to 'Task' in New Images for 'Mare of Eastown' Creator's New Crime Series

Mark Ruffalo will always be known for his role as Bruce Banner in the MCU and for his four Oscar nominations, but he’s been set to star in an upcoming crime series that just got a riveting first look. Vanity Fair has unveiled the first-look images from Task, the upcoming show that will see Ruffalo star as an FBI agent assigned to lead a task force to end a slew of drug-house robberies. The show comes from scribe Brad Ingelsby, who also created the 2021 series that set the world on fire, Mare of Easttown. Ingelsby has also worked on other projects such as The Way Back (Ben Affleck) and Our Friend (Jason Segel), but Task will mark his first project since the 2021 HBO hit. Task is also set in Pennsylvania, like Mare of Easttown.
