Manchester United’s winless run in the Premier League extended to seven years after Ruben Amorim’s side lost 2-0 at home to West Ham.

With one eye on the Europa League final, the Red Devils made six change as Mason Mount started his first game since November.

And despite starting better in the opening stages, United found themselves behind when Tomas Soucek bundled home from close range.

West Ham have endured a disappointing league season themselves, but doubled their lead at Old Trafford after the break when Jarrod Bowen swept home a clinical counterattack in front of the away fans.

United huffed and puffed in search of a comeback but were instead condemned to their 17th league defeat of the season to leave themselves 16th in the Premier League.
